It’s National Voter Registration Day!

Take the important step to get ready for the General Election on Tuesday, November 8th by checking your voter registration status.

Take action!

New York state provides plenty of options to get registered if you need to do so:

+ Register in person at your county board of elections or at any New York State Agency-Based voter registration center.

+ Submit your voter application form at the Department of Motor Vehicles, either in person or on their web site if you already have DMV-issued identification.

+ Request a New York State Voter Registration form via mail by entering your name directly into the Board of Elections mailing list database.

+ Call the 1-800-FOR-VOTE (1-800-367-8683) hotline to request a voter application.

Mailed applications for registration MUST be postmarked by October 14th and received by a board of elections by October 19th. In-person registrations must be completed by October 14th.

Your plan to vote should include registration, so confirm or apply TODAY!
